Especially for the guerrilla grower, this strain was originally stabilised outdoors in New Zealand. She's become something of a legend to the locals in the far-north, where an average plant in a good season could top the scales at more than 1kg of bud!

Add to this more than satisfying yield, vigorous growth, extreme mould resistance, and a great sativa taste and you have the perfect outdoor cropper, that with a little bending and stretching will do equally well if not better indoors.

This strain was discovered while on a trip to Spain in 2003. While there Kiwiseeds had the pleasure to try some truely unique tasting marijuana and to their delight were able to obtain a few seeds. A year or two later they germinated the seeds along with others from their travels and the results were amazing. After selecting the best examples and crossing these back over one of their finest Indica's, Alegria was born. Fat dark green leaves and solid Xmas tree form, with a big top bud. Every Daddy has his girl, and this lovely outdoor hybrid originally from South Africa is enough to make a grown man cry. Vigorous growth and extreme hardiness to dry weather make Daddys Girl just perfect for those outdoor growers that might not get to see their plants as much as they'd like to.

Long elongated branches that produce buds all the way up to clumpy tops, tops that often need tying up or staking in the late summer to avoid breaking under their own weight. Gorgeous citrusy aroma and spicy sativa flavours that produce a lovely high, not too strong, just nice.

If  you are a Haze fan you'll love this one. Real sativa growth habit, long elongated branches with dense clusters of flowers, and sticky with resin that looks almost like millions of tiny diamonds.

A little longer with the flowering times of the Mako Haze is more than compensated for by the end product. Huge Yields of quality smoke can be expected. When dry the T.H.C crystals are so thick under a microscope it almost looks as if they are matted together! The smoke is lovely and smooth, with a good hazy taste, and the high is up, up, up for a long ride. All in all very pleasant.

Mako was a plant cultivated in New Zealand for years in the late 80’s and had a great reputation for being a fast growing, extremely mould resistant sativa, that delivered huge yields of medicinal strength cannabis. In the early 90’s this strain was bought back to Holland and experimented on indoors for a few years, selecting mothers that best suited the indoor environment, and breeding her with various males in an attempt to find a cross that captured the Mako’s best qualities but shortened flowering times and plant height in the process. In the late 90’s a match was found with a fantastic Haze male closely related to the famous NL5 X Haze. The result was the Mako Haze and in 2006 all our hard work paid off when Kiwiseeds took 1^st prize at the HighTimes Cannabis Cup for Best Sativa!

White Island is an active volcanic island, constantly  belching  great white clouds of steam and gas into the air just off the coast of New Zealand. Not far away overlooking all this is the fine cannabis growing region of 'Bay of Plenty'. It has been claimed by certain surveys, that this region produces some of the highest T.H.C content in Cannabis in the world!

'White Island' is a straight F1 hybrid of this predominantly sativa local strain, and our own 'Kiwiskunk'. The result is a plant with all the spicy sativa tastes of the bush, but not excessive with flowering times thanks to the kiwiskunk influence. And whats more it isnt a difficult plant to grow.
